It is reported that China Steel Corp. (CSC), the largest carbon steel maker in Taiwan has planned to release new hot rolled coil (HRC) and cold rolled coil (CRC) leeway allocation for this January. Also, the company may raise the prices by NT$350/ton.

In fact, CSC cut its supplies of HRC and CRC leeway in Taiwanese market last December and the firm remained the prices unchanged.

Meanwhile, CSC's new leeway price is a signal means that CSC may raise its price for March.
